Rice Diet Renewal Webinar Series

Title: Reversing Diabetes: The Power of Lifestyle Choices

In this webinar, Drs. Francis Neelon and Robert Rosati review the rationale and results of treating patients with Type 2 Diabetes with the Rice Diet.

They discuss the results of other researchers who have compared the effects of medications vs. lifestyle modification (i.e., diet and exercise) in preventing the progression of abnormal glucose tolerance to frank diabetes. In brief summary, it is safe to say that medications help but lifestyle factors win hands-down.

They also share the results we have obtained with patients on the Rice Diet, including the improvement in hemoglobin A1c (a long-term measure of average blood sugar), fasting blood sugar, and ability to discontinue the use of medication.
