Check Your Labels

There are usually two ways to preserve food – fat and salt. You should try to avoid too much of either! If it says "Low-Fat", don’t be fooled. Be sure to read the label carefully to make sure it doesn’t have a lot of sodium. Canned goods can be really deceptive. And you may find that so-called "Healthy" products are loaded with sodium. Your best bet is to look for "No-Salt" or "Low-Salt" products. These can be hard to find for some food products, but the Rice Diet Store has what you can’t find in a regular grocery store.
