
Baked Prune Compote
Prunes, like many simple foods, are infinitely better if they are complimented with another flavor or two.

ounce package of pitted prunes |
| 1 |
cup raisins or dried cherries |
| 1 |
cup orange juice |
| 2/3 |
cup water |
| Juice |
of 1 lemon and grated rind (rinds can be left in larger pieces if you prefer) |
| Juice |
of 1 orange and grated rind |
| 3" |
stick cinnamon |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cover and chill for at least two hours. Enjoy for breakfast or as a dessert.
