Crispy Sweet Pearl Onions

This dish is just unbelievably good to be this easy!

5 cups (cleaned, whole) pearl onions, frozen is fine
1 cup uncooked cream of wheat; preferably Bob’s Red Mill no salt added*
1 pinch paprika
1 pinch black pepper
1 pinch garlic powder
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp honey
1 Tbs water

Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix liquid ingredients and toss onions to coat. Stir in dry ingredients, and pour mixture evenly over non-stick cookie sheet. Place in oven for 40-60 minutes (or until crispy).

YIELD: 6 servings
