
Granny's Baked Apples
Skip the processed pie crusts and go straight to the good stuff! This recipe is a wonderful way to enjoy the flavors of home made apple pie, but still considered "Ricer Friendly." Enjoy this dish as a side of fruit to top off any meal of the day.

Granny Smith Apples |
| 1/3 |
cup apple juice |
| 2 |
slices ginger root |
| 1 |
cinnamon stick |
| 3 |
orange slices |
Peel top 1/3 of apple and place in microwave dish. Add juice, ginger, cinnamon, and orange slices. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or microwave for 4 minutes.
