What to do with left over salt?
Clean a Vase
- Mix 1/3 cup of salt and 2 tablespoons of white
vinegar to form paste.
- Wipe the inside of the vase with the mixture
an let stand for 20 minutes.
- Scrub it (good exercise), rinse and dry.
Toughen Pantyhose
- Wash your new pantyhose and allow to drip dry.
- Mix two cups of salt with one gallon of water.
- Soak pantyhose for 3 hours.
- Hang to dry.
Clean Rust
- Mix salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Apply mixture to rusted metal or tools with
a clean cloth
- Rub Dry.
Freshen Gabage Disposals
- Pour 1/2 cup of salt into the garbage disposal
- Run garbage disposal according to manufacturer's
directions
Clean Silk Flowers
- Place silk flowers into a large bag and add
1 cup of salt.
- Hold bag shut and shake vigorusly.
- Remove clean flowers
